Anyway…to cut a very long story short… I haven’t lost my mind…but I have spent decades playing my original music to anyone who would listen, which was not many…now it seems much more appropriate to be safe in the studio accomplishing music at my own pace rather than throwing energy into band after band with the inherent struggle bands possess. So where previously I would attempt new guises or projects it feels right to now have all my music under my own name…at some point I have to stop expanding getting further away from my creative source and just be me. To have all my songs under my own name. Hence andymccormackmusic.com. I have 3 complete albums out in the world. Written in Stone(2013), Sleepwalk Into Oblivion(2015) and Songs From the Prison River (2021) whilst I stand by nearly all the songs on these None of them have Set the world Afire and each one took approximately a year to complete. So whilst I still enjoy creating music, I feel I have to inject a dose of realism to this type of endeavour. So I’ll just release music as when it is ready and maybe it will singe the world a little and most of all thank you if you listen…cheers.
